1. Identification and Nature of the Service

This web application (finance.humbert.ninja) is a personal and private installation of the open-source software Sure (a community fork of Maybe Finance), hosted on a private server for exclusively personal and domestic use.

The person responsible for this installation is Humbert Blanco (hereinafter, “the Owner”).

This application does not constitute a financial, advisory, or intermediation service. It is a personal finance management and visualization tool.

2. Access and Registration

Access to this application is restricted. Only persons explicitly authorized by the Owner may create an account and access it. It is not a service open to the public.

3. Personal Data and Privacy

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD):

  • Data controller: Humbert Blanco.
  • Purpose: Management and visualization of personal finances.
  • Legal basis: User consent and legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Data processed: Name, email address, bank account data and transactions linked through open banking services (Enable Banking) or manual import.
  • Recipients: Data is not shared with third parties. Bank connections are made through authorized PSD2 providers (Enable Banking OY, regulated by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland).
  • Retention: Data is retained while the account is active. Users may request deletion at any time.
  • Rights: Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact the Owner directly.

4. Bank Connections (Open Banking / PSD2)

This application uses open banking services compliant with the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2 - EU Directive 2015/2366) to access bank account information.

  • Connections are made through Enable Banking OY, a regulated Account Information Service Provider (AISP).
  • The application only accesses data in read-only mode. It cannot make payments, transfers, or any financial operations.
  • PSD2 consent has a maximum duration of 90 days, after which re-authorization is required.
  • The user can revoke access at any time from the application settings or from their online banking.

5. Security

  • Communications are encrypted using TLS 1.3.
  • Access credentials are stored in encrypted form.
  • The server is private and not shared with third parties.
  • Bank data is stored in a local PostgreSQL database, not accessible from the outside.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • This application is provided “as is” without any warranty.
  • It is not a financial advisory service. The data displayed is for informational purposes only.
  • The Owner is not responsible for errors in synchronization, calculations, or data visualization.
  • The user is solely responsible for any financial decisions they make.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sure software is distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license. This installation complies with the terms of that license. The source code is available at github.com/we-promise/sure.

8. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Spanish and European law, in particular:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679)
  • Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD)
  • Payment Services Directive (PSD2 - EU 2015/2366)
  • Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE)

9. Modifications

The Owner reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on this page.
